How much does emergency towing cost?
You’ll see your exact price in the app before you book, based on where you are and where your car is going. You pay up front, so there’s no haggling at the curb. With a Jerry Roadside Assistance membership, tows up to 25 miles are included in your covered dispatches.
Will requesting a tow affect my car insurance rates?
No. Jerry Roadside Assistance is a separate service we offer, not part of your insurance. Requesting a tow will not affect your insurance premium.
How long will it take for the tow truck to arrive?
Help typically arrives in under 45 minutes. Once a tow truck is dispatched, you can track it in real time in the app.
Can you tow my car to my own mechanic?
Yes. When you request a tow, tell us where you want your car to go — your mechanic, your home, or another location of your choice.
Do I need a membership to get a tow?
No. You can request one-time roadside service without signing up for anything and pay only for what you use. If you’d rather be covered before something goes wrong, you can get a Jerry Roadside Assistance membership in the Jerry app.
