Will requesting a tire change affect my car insurance rates?
No. Jerry Roadside Assistance is a separate service we offer, not part of your insurance. Requesting a tire change will not affect your insurance premium.
What if I don’t have a spare tire?
A roadside tire change puts on your spare, so you’ll need an inflated spare in the car. If you don’t have one, you can request a tow to a nearby tire shop instead.
Can you patch or repair my tire?
No. The provider swaps your flat for your spare. Take the damaged tire to a tire shop to have it repaired or replaced.
Is it safe to wait on the highway?
Move as far off the road as you safely can, turn on your hazard lights, and stay in your car with your seatbelt on unless it’s safer to get out. If you’re ever in danger, call 911.
