WORKING AT JERRY
I joined when Jerry had a few thousand users and helped build the platform that now serves millions. When I saw a better way for our services to work with AI, I wrote a proposal and got to build it. Within weeks, teams across Jerry were using the codegen toolkit. I’ve shipped ideas that worked and others that didn’t. The response was the same: understand what happened, improve it and keep going. Everyone’s focused on the same goal, so they help push your ideas further than you would alone.
Since I joined a few years ago, I've worked on customer retention, messaging, how AI systems answer questions, and the governance of AI we build ourselves. I love spotting something in the data, building the model and sticking with it until it ships. No one hands me these problem spaces. I go after the hardest questions, make the calls with PMs and engineers, and move fast. Data scientists at Jerry don’t just answer questions. We’re trusted to ask which questions the company should be solving. It’s a big reason I’m here.
In my first five years at Jerry, I worked side by side with our CEO, launched products that helped make us profitable, owned two product lines end to end, and now run one of our newer businesses. The projects are ambitious by design: targets like 5x monthly sales are normal here, and that’s what makes the work exciting. You spend every day on hard problems that matter to the business, next to people who want to solve them with you.
The best part of my role is hearing a customer’s sigh of relief, knowing I made their day easier. I listen and find solutions that fit, and I own the result. I check my metrics against my personal goals every day. Being on the front lines with customers every day, the feedback I share internally is used to improve the app for other agents and thousands of customers. The talent on this team amazes me, and people freely share what they know. I grow every day.
