Does Foremost offer motorcycle insurance?

Yes, Foremost sells motorcycle insurance coverage as well as standard car insurance—but not in Massachusetts or Hawaii.
Liability coverage
and physical damage protection are two components of traditional motorcycle coverage. In addition to these coverages, Foremost offers bike owners several additional policies:
  • Replacement cost total loss settlement: You’ll get replacement costs covered on a new bike for up to five years. (Does not apply to custom, classic, or vintage motorcycles)
  • Transport trailer coverage: This covers a trailer specifically designed to protect your motorcycle in transit, up to $10,000.
  • Helmets and safety apparel coverage: Your gear is as essential as your bike. This policy covers damage to gear that protects you in an accident.
  • Optional equipment coverage: This can cover aftermarket modifications—but you’ll have to buy the Elite or Plus package to get this coverage.
Note that you can also opt for the minimum liability coverage. With Foremost, this coverage includes First Accident Forgiveness and available roadside assistance.
Foremost is also one of the only companies that offer insurance to track-day coverage.

Cost

Your coverage needs and your driving record determine how much you’ll pay for coverage. The cost of Foremost motorcycle insurance could be as little as $20 per month if you need minimum coverage.
Each company has its own formula for calculating premiums. But by keeping a clean record, limiting your claims, and driving a safe bike, you can pay less for coverage.

Coverage options

One of the best features offered by Foremost is track-day coverage (although the company doesn’t insure motorcycles used for racing or stunts). This type of coverage isn’t offered by many of Foremost’s competitors.
It’s also helpful that Foremost has simplified its coverage options into three different packages: Saver, Plus, and Elite.
The Saver level includes $500 toward helmet and safety apparel coverage, first accident forgiveness, and optional coverages like custom equipment and roadside assistance.
Upgrade to the Plus level and enjoy $1,500 of helmet and safety apparel plus standard roadside assistance, trip interruption coverage, track day coverage, two years of replacement cost total loss settlement and $3,500 toward optional equipment coverage.
The top tier is the Elite level, which adds on a diminishing deductible, deductible waiver, enhanced rental, permissive use rental, and higher coverage levels for personal gear.
