Are CV joints covered under the Hyundai warranty?

I finally had to get rid of my last car after the CV joints gave out and the car wasn’t worth the repairs. I’m worried about that happening again. If I buy a new Hyundai, will the warranty cover CV joints?

Sorry to hear that your car reached the end of the line! If you decide to buy a new Hyundai the 10-year, 100,000-mile Hyundai powertrain warranty will cover the CV joints in your car in most cases. However, Hyundai may deny the claim if the boot on the CV joint is torn, as this is usually deemed general wear and tear.
General wear and tear and maintenance are not covered under any Hyundai warranty. The warranty only covers defects to the vehicle due to poor workmanship off the assembly line.
On the off-chance that your Hyundai warranty doesn’t cover your CV joint, you’re looking at a bill between $600 to $1,000 for parts and labor to repair it. So if you want to save some cash for a maintenance fund, start by cutting your
