Can you take the written driving test online in Oklahoma?

I never wanted to get my driver’s license when I was younger—but now that I'm 21, I think it’s time! Is the written driving test available online?

Unfortunately, you cannot do the written knowledge test online in
Oklahoma
. You’ll need to go to a driver exam site to do the test.
The test will consist of 25 multiple-choice questions and you will need to answer 20 questions (80%) correctly to pass and be eligible to do the skills test. All the questions will be based on the materials found in the Oklahoma Driver’s Manual, which covers the following topics:
  • Oklahoma traffic laws—including the penalties when you don’t follow the law
  • Road rules—such as signs, signals, markings, when to yield, etc.
  • Road signs—what they mean and what you should do when you see them
  • Safe driving practice—how to share the roads to keep everyone safe
  • Laws for your city/town—check with your local police department
Every time you go to a driver exam site, you should also bring proof of:
  • Full legal name
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security number card
  • Oklahoma residency (2 documents)
  • Citizenship or legal presence
  • Insurance Security Verification Form with the VIN matching the vehicle you will be driving (for the skills test)
Best of luck on your path to getting your
Oklahoma driver's license
