Do driving instructors ask you questions?

I’m pretty nervous about taking my license exam. While I’m feeling pretty confident about the written portion, I’m not sure what to expect during the road test. Will my driving instructor ask me questions?

Aww, don’t be nervous, you’re going to do great! Your driving instructor probably won’t ask you very many questions, but they will likely request for you to perform certain tasks, including:
  • Honking the horn
  • Using turn signals and turning hazard lights off and on
  • Turning windshield wipers on and off
  • Operating the parking brake
Otherwise, your driving instructor will likely remain quiet so that you can focus on driving and passing your test—which you hopefully will! Good luck!
