Does Allstate insure salvage titles?

My car was restored after a major accident, and I need to get a new policy now that it’s fixed up. Does Allstate insure salvage titles?

No, Allstate does not insure salvage titles—but it does insure rebuilt titles.
Salvage titles are not legal to drive, so they’re not insurable for car insurance purposes. Before you can apply for insurance for your restored vehicle, you’ll need to apply for a rebuilt title.
Getting a rebuilt title involves proving that your car is completely repaired. You may have to provide documentation of all the repairs, such as receipts, photos, and other evidence. Once the DMV is satisfied, they will issue you a rebuilt title.
Once you have a rebuilt title in hand, you can go to
Allstate
for an insurance policy.
Be aware that Allstate only offers limited
liability coverage
on rebuilt title vehicles due to the increased risk associated with these cars. You won’t be able to get
full coverage
on a rebuilt title car with Allstate. However, minimum liability coverage is enough to get you back on the road.
Remember to shop around with multiple providers. The company with the best rate before your accident may not offer the best rate afterward.
Hope this helps!
