Getting a new phone is always exciting but getting to use it is even better!
To delete a Bluetooth device from your 2014 Honda CR-V
, you can either use your phone to “forget” the vehicle, or reset your car’s Bluetooth settings. To “forget” your CR-V, go into your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Your vehicle should be listed as an available device. Simply select it and press “Delete” or “Forget.”
Alternatively, you can reset your CR-V’s Bluetooth settings. To do this, put your car in Park and turn your ignition to Accessory mode. Then, press and hold the “Bluetooth” button on the center console for three seconds until the car prompts you to release the button. And that’s it—all devices are deleted from the CR-V’s Bluetooth list.
Keep in mind that you’ll have to re-sync the devices that you want to be connected to your CR-V after a reset. Here’s how:
Turn on your device and enable Bluetooth.
On your CR-V’s center console, press the “Phone” button. Your infotainment screen will appear with the message, “Would you like to add a new phone?” Use the volume knob to select “Yes.”
Next, a list of discoverable Bluetooth devices will appear on the screen. Select your device’s name.
A PIN code will appear on the screen.
Return to your phone and input the code.
That’s all there is to it. Now you can stream music and make hands-free calls while keeping your eyes on the road.
