How do I open the Nissan Pathfinder trunk from inside?
Would I be able to open the trunk of my Nissan Pathfinder from inside the car. I have nightmares about being trapped in heavy snow and the only door that will open is the trunk. Is that weird? How do I open the Nissan Pathfinder trunk from inside?

On many Nissan models, you can open the trunk with your smartkey or a button accessible from the driver’s seat. However, if that isn’t working, you can open the trunk manually.
You’ll need to be in the trunk to manually open the hatch. There should be a liftgate release access opening toward the bottom of the hatch door. It will look like a small, rectangular opening.
Using a small tool, like a screwdriver, push into the liftgate release and rotate it to the left. This should release the lock.
With that done, you’ll be able to push the trunk open.
The trunk may also have an internal button which will undo the lock without needing a tool.
