How do you check the tire pressure on a 2018 Toyota Camry?

I just got a new car, and I’m not sure how to read my tire pressure. I know the pressure can drop unexpectedly in cold weather, so I want to make sure that I know how to check it. How can I tell if my Camry’s tires need air?

It’s great that you’re being careful with your new car! To check the tire pressure on a 2018
Toyota Camry
, follow these steps:
  • Turn on the engine.
  • Locate the reset button on the lower right of the instrument panel and press and hold the button until the TPMS light blinks three times.
  • Let your car run for three to five minutes while your car records the pressure of each tire.
  • Turn your car off, then back on again. If the TPMS light comes on and blinks, you might have an issue with your tires or the sensor itself.
Although this will tell you if your tire pressure gets dangerously low, it’s still a good idea to check your tires with a gauge. This will help you make sure that each tire is at 32 psi, which is the optimal tire pressure for 2018 Camrys in the cold.
