How do you play Bluetooth music in a Ford Fusion? I know my car has it, but I haven’t been able to figure it out!

Depending on the model year, not all Fords have Bluetooth capabilities. However, if your car is equipped with it, here’s how to play Bluetooth music in a
Ford Fusion
.
First, you’ll need to pair your phone or device to your Fusion if you haven’t already. These are generally the steps involved in doing so:
  • With your vehicle on and in park, from the SYNC infotainment system, press “phone,” then “add phone.”
  • From the Bluetooth settings on your phone or other device, find and select your vehicle to pair with, verify the displayed PINs match, then confirm the message on the infotainment screen.
Once your device is paired with your vehicle, you should be able to select Bluetooth as your audio source, and when you start playing music, you should hear it through your Ford Fusion’s stereo system.
It’s worth noting, however, that your
Ford
Fusion will need to have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to stream music to your vehicle via Bluetooth. Otherwise, you’ll only have the ability to make hands-free calls and/or texts—which is still a great way to avoid
distracted driving
.
If your Ford Fusion doesn’t have either of these features, it’s still easy enough to find an
aftermarket Bluetooth adapter
that can give you the capability.
