How fast is a Hyundai Ioniq’s battery degradation?

How long will a new Hyundai Ioniq battery last? I’m worried about the cost of replacing the battery. I know electric car batteries can be really expensive, so I’m debating buying this car.

A
Hyundai Ioniq
battery will typically experience a degradation rate of about 1% per year.
In fact, Hyundai goes so far as to warranty their high voltage batteries against degradation in excess of 30% for the first 10 years or 100,000 miles of ownership, so you’ll be safe from high battery costs for at least that long.
Most Ioniq batteries last for 10 to 20 years depending on how well you keep up with battery maintenance and how often you use your vehicle. To preserve battery life as long as possible, try not to charge your car battery to 100%, and use superchargers as infrequently as possible. It can also help to keep your vehicle stored at a lower temperature, as heat can damage your car battery.
