I’m looking to replace my truck, but I’m hoping to purchase something used. I’ve heard good things about the Chevy Silverado 1500 series, but I don’t know which year to buy. What is the best year for a used Chevy Silverado 1500?

You are right that the
Chevy Silverado 1500 series
 is a good option if you’re in the market for a used truck. The 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 is the best used option you can get in regards to overall quality and reliability.
With very few complaints to show, the 2012 Silverado 1500 series is known for lasting a long time. Despite its age, the 2012 model still has plenty of modern technology to offer, minus some newer features like Apple CarPlay.
If that’s a deal-breaker for you, the 2018 model is also a great used option. Built at the end of the third generation, the 2018 Silverado 1500 is packed with modern features but still comes with the benefit of a used price tag.
Keep in mind that even when you buy a used vehicle, the price of your
car insurance
 rates will still be impacted.
