The
Buick
LaCrosse CXL was first available in 2005. The CXL was the mid-range trim for the LaCrosse model, which replaced both the Buick Century and the Buick Regal the same year.The 2005 CXL was outfitted with a 200-horsepower, 3.8-liter V6 engine and several available options and features, such as:
- Wood-simulated dash trim
- Leather steering wheel
- Dusk-sensing headlamps
- Dual-zone front climate control
- 6-speaker stereo with speed-sensitive volume control
- Remote keyless power door locks
- Heated power mirrors
The CXL was the LaCrosse’s mid-level trim from 2005 to 2011 before Buick replaced the LaCrosse’s trim levels with a series of tiered option packages and equipment upgrades in 2012.
