I was playing Need for Speed on PS4 the other day, and I was being pursued by a Lamborghini police car. I thought it was a gimmick for in-game excitement, but curiosity overwhelmed me. Do any police forces actually have Lamborghini police cars?

Being chased by a Lamborghini police car in a video game is certainly exciting, but it’s actually a thing in real life! Italy and the United Arab Emirates both have Lamborghini police cars.
The idea behind six-figure police cars varies from place to place, but here’s why each nation decided to add one of these bad boys to the fleet:
